Recorded-call intelligence
Law firm call center intelligence for everything the team must do after a call.
An intake specialist ends a long call with several dates, several names, a missing agreement, and a promise to follow up. OBE turns the existing recording into a readable transcript, then pulls the unanswered questions and next tasks into view.
Read the call instead of scrubbing through it
Speaker-aware Markdown gives staff a searchable record of who said what.
See what the caller still owes
Dates, people, issues, missing records, follow-up questions, and action items are easy to find.
Staff check every proposed answer
Candidate facts wait for confirmation before they enter the lead or case.
I · The recording
Use an existing recording your firm has permission to process.
OBE accepts available call and interview recordings through the intake setup agreed with the firm. The audio stays linked to the transcript and analysis, so a reviewer can listen to the exchange before relying on a proposed fact.
II · After processing
Staff can scan the conversation and assign the unfinished work.
OBE can create speaker-aware Markdown and a structured report of the chronology, people, issues, evidence gaps, follow-up questions, topics, sentiment, action items, and decisions discussed on the call.
Jump to the relevant exchange
Speaker labels and timestamps take a reviewer back to the right part of a long interview.
Give follow-up to someone
A missing document or unanswered question becomes a task instead of vanishing in the call notes.
Check answers before write-back
Answers to configured intake questions wait for staff confirmation before entering the lead.
III · Service limits
Recorded-call processing does not include a live receptionist.
The current offer excludes live answering, human receptionists, after-hours or weekend coverage, bilingual staffing, and 24/7 service. A separate staffed service would need its own signed scope.
IV · Before write-back
The source stays available while staff check a proposed fact.
A caller might correct a date 20 minutes later, and a summary can lose an important qualification. Staff can keep the recording and transcript open while they inspect a proposed fact and decide what belongs in the lead.
Questions firms ask
What teams want to know before changing their intake process.
01Does OBE answer calls live?
No. The current offer covers recordings submitted through the firm's agreed intake process. It excludes live answering and receptionist staffing.
02What does OBE produce from a call?
OBE can produce speaker-aware Markdown, a structured account of the conversation, questions about missing evidence, action items, and proposed intake facts.
03Do extracted call facts enter the case automatically?
No. Candidate answers wait for staff confirmation before OBE writes them to the lead or matter.
04What does OBE call intelligence cost?
Call intelligence is included with managed OBE at $899 per month. Each configured case type has a one-time $700 setup fee. The agreement documents the operating limits.
05Can a transcript replace lawyer review?
No. A transcript makes the conversation easier to review. Qualification decisions stay with authorized firm staff. Legal judgment and client advice remain with lawyers.

Legal intake library
Find the part of intake your team is fixing.
These guides cover what happens after a new inquiry arrives: follow-up, staffing, documents, recorded calls, software, and campaign volume.
Tim Ottowitz, Founder and CEO, OBE, checks these pages for product and operations accuracy. His review is not legal advice or a review by counsel in any jurisdiction. ArbitrationIntel and OBE publish software and operations information. Each firm sets its own policies for conflicts, acceptance, engagement, qualification, and filing, including which operational steps authorized staff may handle. Lawyers remain responsible for legal judgment, analysis, strategy, and client advice. Product terms and operating limits are set by the signed agreement.

Bring a case type your team knows well, plus the questions, documents, handoffs, and exceptions that make it hard to run. We'll trace it with you and show where OBE can cut duplicate entry, flag missing information, and keep each fact tied to its source.
